I’m an identical twin and it blows my mind how much people have asked me if my twin and I have done it 😭 NO WE HAVE NOT!! The running theory is that the bond is different. It’s extremely strong. Most twins feel like they’re a part of each other (like they’re the same person in different bodies. We usually grow out of it in adolescence) but sometimes the bond turns into something… else. Those relationships are a weird territory because while they know they’re separate people, it doesn’t feel wrong because they’re the “same person”. I’m a therapist working with children and it’s fascinating but very difficult
