My mom used to do this and I told her I didn’t want her buying me stuff to spend quality time and the only reason she would buy me stuff is because she has a shopping addiction. After that I would make her not buy hella stuff when we went to stores. And it actually caused better bonding 🤣she hates it but loves it because she isn’t blowing money.
