I went to the doctor while in france. Urgent care plus testing and prescriptions. Cost $80. Same day appointment. Whole thing took 40 minutes. Healthcare in the US is completely broken.

No. The worst is you paying faithfully every month, getting sick, and the insurance company still REFUSING your bone marrow transplant. Because someone ran the numbers and decided it would be cheaper to let you die. And what are you going to do, sue? You’ll be dead in six months. Win-Win for the insurance company.

As a Canadian now in Texas I endorse this! It’s so unbelievably skewed to the upper middle class and above😡 We pay almost 900 a month and there’s LITERALLY no benefit 🤦♀️

this is why my family doesn't have health insurance, we have a Health Savings Account and if we need medical care, we pay for it out of that. boom, saving $800/month and a $6k deductible.
