@satu_en: Whenever I hear "Legendary Lovers," I only think of Merlin and Freya. #merlinedit #freylin #merlin #bbcmerlinedit

Eros Viper :

Merlin’s first kiss

Julia 🇦🇺 :

Freya, Lancelot and Arthur the loves of his life

gabsdoingherbest :

They’re truly slept on so hard!!!! A demigod forced into immortality in love with the personification of death, for which he sends every friend and lover to for safe keeping! No we don’t talk about them near enough!!!

Idunn :

They deserve to be talked about so much more! Yes, Merlin was prepared to sacrifice himself more times than I can count for both Arthur and Camelot alike, but he was also fully ready to leave and LIVE with Freya. And that man NEVER stopped thinking about her, no one can convince me otherwise

chunkysheen :

I think Merlin and Freya make a good couple, but I feel like Merlin fell in love way too fast. I mean, not only did he fall for a girl he’d known for just a few days, but he was also ready to run away with her and abandon his destiny? It all happened so incredibly fast; they could have at least shared some experiences that would actually make him feel that way. Or maybe she could have been a childhood friend or something? Idk.

livvy :

I really miss them

RSDavid :

I got to go back and watch again what episode

Mïdê✨Gøld :

Freya? Merlin I've missed you 🥹

𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖗𝖒𝖐𝖎𝖓𝖌🥷🖤🧸 :

The hero actually never gets the girl cuz of responsibilities 😔

rennykush :

People dismiss their love bc it was sudden (who hasnt fallen in love at 18 with someone they just met) and short. Also if it can be dismissed then it can be argued as a lazy piece of evidence for the argument that Merlin is fanonically queer and not just gay, but i digress. Narratively having a life long partner in your magic duties, I believe, is a beautiful gift for merlin who has suffered and will suffer for the foreseeable future. Its his immortal love who connects with his soul that is inherently ethereal in a way no other mortal person, even Arthur, can do.

essa_starrxxx :

Omg! I ship them so hard. I was crushed by her death and did something only a writer would, named my protagonist after her 😭🥹

Daniel Zambrano :

The lady of the lake🥰

Lynden L. Waringe🇵🇬 :

This entire series gave me a lifetime of cinematic trauma

Demian :

Aun me dueles Freya...💔

PeL :

I love the idea of them being lovers that got seperated, but I wish we had seen them more. For me it just loses its effect completely, especially when we consider Lancelot and his death.

Camelot's Baddest King :

They're god and goddess 😩

Lolo Hun cho🧃 :

The only woman he ever loved 🥺🥺

livvy :
