this depends on which drama tbh. you should only defend them if they're at risk of harm mentally and physically—and if they were in the right. you're not responsible for other ppls actions, you're a friend not a parent. yes you can support them through the sidelines and give comfort and advice but it's best if they learn how to deal with it themselves🤷

if my friend is in the wrong but the other person has multiple friends on her side and are being unnecessarily aggressive and mean then i will stand up for my friend and correct them in private, if my friend is in the right i will stand up for them, if its a silly argument between my friends and theres no wrong or right just a mild agreement, ill stay out of it, simple.

This is me and I’m not ashamed of it. I defended my friend once years ago and I got into the middle of the drama, it sucked. So now I just stay out of it, I’m not gonna pick sides and if I truly believe that my friends in the wrong I will call them out on it but that’s it.

Guys it’s your friend. It’s fucking loyalty. You NEVER talk badly about them in public, behind closed doors, sure, disagree. In public however, that is a person you CHOSE to be friends with. What you do shows other people and them how much you value loyalty.
