James is correct getting a dog now is very selfish put in a dog in a kennel for days or weeks at a time when they leave at 5:00 p.m. to go home at night the dog is left all night long alone, no bonding time for a dog it takes time every day to be with a dog to bond with a dog I have to agree it's very selfish move on your part to get a dog with your busy schedules.
