Do you think she may have too much stimuli in her room that she has access too at night that she didn’t used to have? My son will get out of his bed is we leave out too many of his toys. we leave out his books and at if fed animals and his nugget couch but we noticed if we left out any interactive toys he would wake up super early and start playing.

We switched our son about a week ago (recently turned 2). Seems like it’s going about the same for us- except he will open the door and cry if we don’t fall asleep in the bed with him 😮💨

This series is SO helpful! Thank you🙌🏼 question, unless I missed it. Did she always get out of bed and leave the room and get walked back or did dad come in and lay with her if she got out of the bed and did things in her room?

Similar experience with my daughter. The first night was amazing she laid there went to sleep no issue the following week or two she would follow us to the door and cry when we told her this time to go to bed. We just continued to do our nighttime routine and explain to her when it was time for bed and that she could take her book to bed with her if she wanted and now she tells us bye-bye go night night🥰

Your daughter talks so much and I love it. Something I teach parents in Therapy is making the room a safe place and so after check-in start to go well I would teach her “high low ha ha” which means what was the best part of your day what part was not so good and do you need to talk about it and what part was super funny
