$1200 for a light gravel bike or daily commuter? Building skills? Waaay too expensive for a beginner bike. Get a Walmart bike for a beginner bike and then move up to a better bike.

I have this exact bike and It cost $1200 plus taxes. The bike is decent, it is sort of noisy but overall it’s a solid 7/10. You can find a better bike with another brand for roughly the same price or slightly cheaper.

ditch the horrendous stock tires for the tubeless Continental GP 5000. Bike comes with tubeless ready rims. That alone can increase you average speed. Excellent bike
