Here she is!! 🥰 The buttercream recipe/turorial! If you try it out, tag me and let me know how it goes! 💕 Full recipe: • 4 sticks (2 cups) softened butter • 3 cups powdered sugar (sifted or not, it’s fine either way!) • 1 tsp (splash) of Vanilla • pinch of salt This recipe can be doubled or tripled as she is! It’s so smooth, with a delicious balance of not so sweet (the salt did that 😏) Helpful tips: • the fuller your bowl, the less bubbles in your buttercream! It’s ok to overfill it a little bit. My 7qt @KitchenAid mixer fits a triple batch pretty well! (It might even fit a quad! I haven’t tried it 😅) • I you fill your bowl up, run your mixer on low speed for a few minutes at the very end to let out any air bubbles trapped inside • a teeny tiny speck of violet food gel will help cancel out the yellow tinge from your butter if needed, or just some good old white color will do! • you can store her at room temp or in the fridge! If you need I stiffer for details and piping pop it in the fridge for a few minutes! • for longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months and thaw in the fridge over night, then set it on the counter for about an hour or 2 before use • for use on cakes, I recommend frozen cakes and soooofffttt buttercream.
