We love all stars sports, it’s our go to hotel, I’d rather spend less on hotel and more on stuff in parks ha! We did MNSSHP once and it was great but I wouldn’t do it again, Christmas on I didn’t rate at all

So the reason they redid the splash mountain theme is because it was extremely racist. Sooooooo, yeah whether you like it or not it had to be redone.

Obviously just your opinions, but I will never understand the hate for staying off property. A 4 bed 3 bath air bnb is significantly cheaper than staying even at a Value resort. Not to mention you save money by being able to buy & cook your own food and not have to eat every meal at the resorts/parks

Agree with everything, however we go to Disney 2/3 times a year. AND NEVER GO TO ANIMAL KINGDOM, complete waste of space. We also don’t like Winnie the Pooh, is he even Disney?? That said, we agree on everything else, but replace Animal Kingdom with Magic Kingdom!

you should look into DVC if you go moderate resorts every year. for a lower price you will be in the deluxe resorts 😎

Splash Mountain re-theme, even without the racist context of the movie within which it was set, was definitely needed. Nostalgia is fine and all, but it's okay to update things to keep fresh & new engaging options coming into the parks. It's okay for things to change, especially when new things are learned and when society demands different.

I actually agree with a lot of these opinions except Splash Mountain. I think as a society when we recognize we’ve created a romanticized white washed version of plantation life and slavery, we need to correct it. It perpetuates harmful stereotypes and is disrespectful to any poc. I think it was absolutely necessary to retheme it. And it’s the exact same frigging ride, they didn’t change the track layout or the ride vehicles. You should be joyous that there is more representation for all folks in the park.

TOT is FAR from the best ride on property, that easily goes to guardians. Also French quarter is no where near the level of Coronado springs for moderate resorts
