I’m 8 weeks PP now and feel like I’m just starting to bond now I’m getting a bit more feedback from him, before now it’s like working a 24 hour job with an awful boss that gives you no praise just literal bags of crap and screams in your face but as he settles more it becomes more rewarding finally 😅

Being postpartum with a NICU baby is a whole other level of crazy. How am I supposed to heal my own body while walking across the hospital to bond with a baby I can only interact with for a few hours a day.

I had an epidural. I still couldn’t feel my legs. My ex husband left to go to the bar to celebrate. And they left me with this new born. Thankfully I couldn’t walk or I would have run!!!

Healing from 48 hours of labor and being told “you have to feed this baby” was a shock I wasn’t prepared for 😂 …formula was a godsend for the first week 🙏

One of my bestfriends and her husband were considering getting the snip at 3 weeks old. Lucky they had women around them to say “wait. This is not the new normal. It will pass.” Now she’s 5 month and they’re passed those feelings. PP is crazy and I’m terrified for it lol.
