@hermoneyplans: The REAL pros & cons of the Letter Writing Side Hustle ✍️ I’ve been doing this for a while now and there are so many people promoting letter writing, so here’s my honest opinion: ✅ PROS • Work from home, whenever it fits your schedule. • Write as many (or as few) letters as you want. • Mail-in opportunities can pay anywhere from $1–$6 USD per accepted letter, while supplies average around $1 USD per letter, so m there’s quite a bit of room for profit. • No social media, followers, or content creation required which is great if you’re more of an introvert or too shy for the camera. • I actually find the writing relaxing. It’s nice to unplug from screens for a while. • You can prepare your letters and envelopes almost anywhere (home, vacation, lunch break, etc.). (online code retrieval steps need to be completed according to each company’s rules.) • The companies tell you exactly what to write, so once you understand the process, it’s mostly repeating the same format. • If you’re in an eligible U.S. state, there are digital entry opportunities that can take around 30 minutes per day across participating companies and may offer up to $20 USD/day if you complete all available entries. • Our $25/month program doesn’t just teach letter writing… it also includes 30+ other online income streams you can learn while waiting for mail-in results. • No previous experience required. • Easy to fit around a full-time job, kids, or other commitments. • For Canadians, sweepstakes winnings are generally not taxable, though everyone’s tax situation is different. ❌ CONS • The biggest one… you NEED patience. Mail-in opportunities can take anywhere from 8–21 weeks before you see payment for your letters. • There are upfront supply costs for mail-in entries (roughly $1 USD / $1.50 CAD per letter). Digital entries require very little in supplies. • Your entries need to follow the instructions carefully. Small mistakes can mean an entry isn’t accepted. • You must be 21+ to participate. • Not every U.S. state or Canadian province is eligible for this sidehustle. • Conversion process before you can cash out. We teach the strategy inside the program, but results vary (I personally consider this a PRO more than a CON but some disagree). ↘️⬇️↙️ Overall? I think it’s one of the most beginner-friendly side hustles I’ve found because you can start small, work at your own pace, and learn other income streams inside the community while you’re waiting for your mail-in entries.
