There are still state constitutions that dictate that atheists cannot hold public office. They would ofc be overturned by the scotus, but technically atheists are the most persecuted via state.

what's so ironic about them pointing to Jesus saying "if you follow me, you will be hated" is he was right. those who ACTUALLY follow Jesus's teachings are hated by other Christians.
