I've seen this lately where the server drops off the check as soon as physically possible and just abandons the table. I hope managers really do allow this because tables like that aren't gonna tip anyway so why waste your time and energy just getting yelled at

I was a chef/front house employee at a sports club. Had to cover front house one night, at the front of the kitchen i was also a chef for… customer comes up and orders a medium rare steak.. i politely tell her, steaks are only available from the restaurant… just through those doors… *points*… Karen then tells me ‘ummm i have been coming here for 20+ yrs, i always order a steak’… after the male head chef came out and explained i was right… they remembered they were at a different place. 😑😑😑😑😞
