During Covid I was pregnant with my daughter but they still delivered. We ordered at least 3 times a week and we have a yellow door so they called us “the yellow door family” anyways when she was born we took her in and our delivery guy literally pushed a server out of the way to hold her first🤣

Trust me. It gets worse with age. My kids almost 11 now and every time we hit the Mexican restaurant we love, his Tias and Tios kidnap him and set him up in the back for his meal, some one on one time with the owner( a friend of ours ) and his own non-alcoholic margaritas. They adore that boy, we just raise him. He’s theirs. Lmao!

We’ve been going to the same Chinese buffet since I was pregnant and ever since I’ve had my daughter, it became their daughter too 🤣❤️for her first bday they made a little orange cake cause it’s her favorite fruit and sung happy birthday ❤️I’m so thankful they share love to my daughter. We love all the servers there so much!

My toddler attends a daycare where they only speak spanish (my husband and I only speak English). When we go to our local mexican restaurant she always surprises us - she’s so shy normally… but not with her tias! 🥰

I have the reverse of this, I’ve been going to the same Chinese restaurant my entire life. I was there the day they opened back up after the owners had their son. He just left for college and I miss my nephew

Don’t have kids. But I had my local place. After a few times, they’d deposit a baby/toddler with me, walk away to make my food, then come back and take the kid back. I got kid time, they got a tiny break, and I got good food.

My late husband frequented a Chinese spot so much he had his own dish. They said “Hey! Beefsteak!” when he walked in. They took our baby from us when he was born. They taught him pai gow as he got older 🤣🥰

I took my son to this restaurant once and they asked him if he wanted the usual. He’s 6 . His uncle had taken him there several times a week when he would pick him up from school

we had a little pho place i just CRAVED when I was pregnant and the cashier got so accustomed to our order he'd just ask if it was the same lol after she was born we went over with our daughter and he became her uncle.. unfortunately him and his wife moved back to Vietnam
