This hurts so bad because I wanted to watch the reboot with my mom because she LOVED the original series. And I lost her last Monday. I don’t think I’ll be able to watch this for a long time now

Little Puma was my favourite character in the series, sadly, we probably won't see him again. I hope one day we can have many more series and movies from the indigenous point of view too, directly 👏 his actor did an amazing job

As a native with Oklahoma roots, I love to see the Osage people being properly represented. I also love that he looks and is Osage. People forgot that certain tribes have different looks

caption is SO true. the original is famous for a reason but the reboot addresses so much that the original was too afraid to. people acting like it strays from the original messaging of the books CLEARLY hasn’t read the books. i really hope they get a season two!!

i grew up watching little house with my mom and grandma, i have never read the books but i ALWAYS found it so weird how indigenous individuals were perceived as the "bad guys" sometimes as if they weren't the ones ran out of their own home. i'm happy for this new reboot and can't wait for more seasons to come.

I really like the way this adaptation explored how both sides were let down so much by the authorities. The natives had their land stripped of them whilst families like the ingalls risked their lives to arrive at the ‘promise lands’ it was devastating for all involved.

Grew up reading the books. Grew up loving the 70s tv show. I knew about the trail of tears and native displacement. This was the first time I connected that Pa was illegally squatting. This show is so important!!
