I use 3% hydrogen peroxide but mix it 50/50 with pure water. Never had an issue. I use it as a mouth wash before I brush my teeth and gargle with it.

I swear by using sensodyne. I put it in my mouth guard and let it sit for like 25 minutes. It realllly helps with my sensitivity.
