As a fan, I genuinely enjoyed the moment and felt that Madonna delivered what was needed. I think, above all, she understood the context she was performing in. This wasn’t the Super Bowl, with a massive production, endless rehearsals, and the kind of setup that allows for a huge, fully choreographed spectacle.
Given the limitations, the choice was smart: she controlled the narrative, avoided unnecessary risks, and delivered a moment that still felt like her. There was no room for major mistakes or easy criticism.
Of course, we would all have loved a few more seconds, another chorus, or an even bigger iconic moment — because we’re talking about Madonna. But considering the circumstances, I think she made the right choice. As a fan, I was happy: she showed up, owned the moment, and left her mark.
