School honestly feels like a giant prison sometimes, and it is completely exhausting having to deal with the exact same boring routine every single day of the week. First of all, the fact that we have to wake up super early when it is still pitch black outside should literally be illegal. It is completely impossible to get enough sleep, so you start every single day feeling like a zombie. Then, you have to drag yourself out of bed, rush to get ready, and hurry to school just to sit in freezing classrooms and uncomfortable plastic desks for seven hours straight. You are forced to sit perfectly still and quiet while teachers talk at you for hours about random facts, old history, and math equations that you will probably never use a single time in real life.The amount of pressure they dump on us is completely ridiculous and unfair. We are forced to memorize an overwhelming amount of information just to pass one single test, and if you happen to have a bad day, get stressed out, or just don't understand a topic right away, your grades drop. Then, your parents get mad, the teachers lecture you, and everyone acts like your entire future is ruined just because of one bad grade. To make it even worse, after spending all day suffering through classes, they have the nerve to give us hours of homework, projects, and studying to do at night. It completely ruins your free time. By the time you finally finish all your assignments, the day is over, and you don’t even get time to just relax, watch videos, play video games, or hang out with your friends. School basically takes over your entire life and leaves you with zero energy.On top of all the annoying schoolwork, the actual environment of the school is so stressful and annoying to deal with. There is always so much random drama happening in the hallways, people gossiping, and everyone trying to fit in. Plus, the rules are completely out of control. They give you dress codes, tell you exactly where you can and cannot walk, and punish you if you are even one minute late to a class because the hallways are packed. The teachers treat you like a little kid who can't be trusted, but then they expect you to act like a mature adult
