@faithinchristlife: Do you know? The kingdom of God is actually not just “in heaven”! Many Christians have always assumed the kingdom is far above, but the truth revealed in the Bible may overturn that idea. Let’s look at a passage we often read but easily overlook: Jesus taught us to pray: “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.” — Matthew 6:10 KJV Have you noticed? Revelation also tells us: “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people.” — Revelation 21:3 KJV Wow, God’s Word so clearly tells us: Jesus is teaching us to pray not for a kingdom that only exists in heaven, but for God’s kingdom to come to earth, and His will to be done on earth. This is very different from what many people imagine. God’s ultimate will is not for people to leave the earth forever, but for those He has saved to live in His kingdom, worship Him, obey Him, and allow His will to be done on earth just as in heaven. In the future, those redeemed by God will live under His care, worship Him, forever, and the earth will become a kingdom where His will reigns. Brothers and sisters, Jesus is coming soon.
