For me, I was never in the military, but me and my friends would come to Fort Knox to party with the soldiers at the NCO club and the EM club. Hanging out in the park on Base. once those clubs closed we would go down 31W toward Louisville. There would be so many different clubs to go to also on Base once a year they have a big carnival with rides that was a lot of fun and this was in the 80s for me. 🥰 Good ole days, so much fun.
