Great decision. Who wants to clean 5 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms 🤷♀️I’m 52 and just after Covid I built a tiny one bedroom flat on my parents property (I’m single and the only child) I’m here if they need me as they age and I’ve got an easy to clean and heat place. Bonus is my two wee dogs gets walks from my dad each day (he lost his wee dog a while ago) and when I travel they are cared for. Hopefully it means they can stay in their own place longer.

I’ve always said if we built id want to invest in building a big beautiful kitchen and living areas for our family to spend time in and be able to host large family gatherings but then keep the bedrooms and bathrooms on the smaller side in comparison as you just don’t need for those to be equally massive!
