Unpop opinion but I feel like the stick on molding is looking cheap :/ maybe something a little different? Or maybe just letting the modern finishes be and not add faux molding. I think keep the thick curtains on the end and add some sheer panels to balance it out.

The panels are lovely, you just need more panels. You may want a double rod with sheers behind and the drapes in front. It's a very rich polished look.
