she KNEW what she was signing up for. she signed up for training, was told it wouldn’t be a survival show, and it was. SHE HAD LITERALLY DONE THIS BEFORE with the same company. idk why she thought magically things would be different.

Lexi first left the DA because they didn’t tell her that they are doing a survival show which is her right to voice her concerns . She also said she left the group bc she and the company have different ideas which means she was promised by hybe again on something and it made her be in this group but then hybe now doing whole different plan she didn’t like.

while some Americans are aware of their labour rights, I actually think a lot of American labour rights are just as lacking as SKoreas, which is why I think Lexie and Manon are the ones (possibly) leaving and not the rest of Saint Satine/Katseye because they are Europeans who have better work life balance and labour laws compared to America. I think the rest of the girls still seem to have that "I'll do anything to make it" mindset

Even more so than in America, Europeans have strong expectations about work/life balance. Here 35-37 hours a week are standard full-time hours for almost all jobs and anything above that is compensated with high overtime pay. If you're sick then you take sick leave and you're paid your full salary up to 6 months.

that’s why it annoys me so bad that people have this resentment towards lexie. like yes it sucks because it jeopardizes the remaining members but at the same time someone needs to put their foot down when these companies constantly are taking advantage of these girls! kpop n global group fans are constantly saying these girls are overworked or set up for failure but god forbid someone actually does something about it 😭😭 similar stuff applies to manons hiatus too.

A wise person learns from other’s mistakes 😭 it’s a shame Manon suffered two years of mistreatment but Lexie was wise to see that nothing good was coming from how flippant HxG is. Mature concept for Saint Satine, then proceed to add a minor… I would’ve left too. Besides HxG act like Lexie forgot the fact that they LIED to the girls during Dream Academy about it being training not a survival show. I wish things went differently for Manon, but hopefully people realize truly how trifling these companies are. Good on you for leaving, Lexie.
