Unfortunately, for the Russian part of the fandom, this joyful moment was overshadowed by the behavior of two Russian actors, who made disrespectful remarks about the group on social media. In their Instagram Stories, they mocked the members, using insulting language and referring to them with derogatory slurs while ridiculing their appearance. The Instagram accounts of these actors are gaydulyan and menchos11. We would like to bring attention to this incident and ask the international fandom to help raise awareness. We also hope these actors will publicly apologize in the same space where these offensive remarks were made—to both BTS and their fans.
