If all 5 were his daughter’s friends, I’m more curious whether there had been any history between them and the shooter, such as bullying or another conflict. It seems like an important piece of context that’s missing. Not defending the guy at all, but just saying, you don’t just usually want to kill people for no reason.

Who is bailing him out? It’s not somebody that loves him, because if you’ve got a kid who has clearly shown intent to do something like this, you are not helping them! And what kind of judge is providing bail?! I mean, OK, the first time, maybe you think they got everything, but after the second time? Ridiculous. This kid is screaming both. I am a threat and I need help. And the people who facilitated his bail were ignoring those.

Im so glad they shut this down and no one got hurt but we are handing this one sided. We need to make mental health a focus...a true focus. And kids need to be held accountable for bullying. Im not justifying what this clearly disturbed child was doing but its multi faceted. Thank Goodness for this gentleman.

Where in Ny did this happen? Also he kept posting bail because there’s basically no such thing as bail in NY. If you commit a crime you are more than likely being cut loose a few hours later.
