as a messi fan all this while, was not prepared for the current hate train. i feel that as much as ppl may dislike argentina, i wish there was some respect, as they got what they wanted, spain won & argentina lost, yet ppl r still dragging it in comments of vids of messi crying saying stuff like "cheaters never win" it feels like theyre blaming messi for every mistake regardless of whether it was from him or not. football rivalry is part of the game, but ppl constantly posting AI pics mocking him under videos of him crying is js unnecessary. at some point, it’s less abt football and more abt enjoying seeing someone hurt. im happy for spain & i feel that everyone did their best. most of the haters dont even watch football & just hates & talks shit based on what people say online.
