Ngl you guys kinda have to learn to speak Infront of people. Imagine being a doctor but you blank out because of anxiety during a procedure, or you wanna be a teacher but you can't even explain simple things without stuttering. Do you think the students will be able to understand what you're saying? do you think you'll be able to pass a job interview even though you're shaking and not confident? This is why anxiety is so important. And as much as i hate to say this, speaking Infront of people would be more helpful than recorded presentations and written responses. When being asked to explain something in an interview, you don't write on a paper to answer their question, you speak. Recorded presentations is different from actually doing a presentation Infront of people. As someone who used to have bad anxiety, it took me a long time to get used to it. I'm confident and comfortable now and honestly i hope you guys will too

They say tht presentations infront helps u build up ur confidence but for me it js makes me even more scared speaking Infront of ppl. Yeah my classmates can do it but I'm not them yk? like they act like everybody has the same confidence and courage to go Infront and speak up. A few weeks ago we had a speech Infront and I legitimately forgot my speech and got a low score bc of it

i can relate to this when i get called up to explain something i stutter so badly and start trembling and i just start crying like the weirdo i am,ever since I join the school I've been struggling alot with making friends and i get bullied alot its also at homd atleast I have you twin and my cousin

my teachers would tell me i had to present even despite my autism (which males it harder for me to speak in a classroom especially full of people who hated me for displaying autistic traits) and would blame me for failing like theres a cow farm??? you’re gonna see cows outside??

I think if so teachers should at least make an effort to let you for example start out from maybe talking when you're sitting down or letting you get more comfortable with it/aiding you in becoming more confident because yes it is an important skill but most teachers treat the whole class the same whilst disregarding those who struggle with it, saying this as someone who does struggle with it and thanks to many great teachers it eventually became easier for me 🫶

im a person who ir rly rly rly good with public speaking or just anything to do with presentations in general but i always did notice those few classmates looking VERY uncomfortable and i took it upon myself to kind of take their parts for myself if we had to read/present something aloud. always broke my heart a little to see them struggle but no teachers helping.
