Examples of what this means since so many people keep arguing that God still hears the prayers. I smoke and God has still listened to my prayers and worked miracles on my marriage and life. however if I end up with an disease related to my smoking He aint gonna heal me if I keep smoking. why would He, when I will willfully destroy what He healed. However if I pray to stop smoking and the strength to do so that He will listen to and help guide me. we as humans do things that God won't listen to our prayers on because we won't give up what we need to give up for God to work in that area of our lives

The word "weaker" is not exactly meant the way we translate and understand it. Dig deeper, women are valued. Don't get hung up on a word. The Bible is true! Dig deeper into the historical culture of the Jewish people in Biblical times. It is so interesting!!

We walk by faith not by sight. We are two seperate beings.. a physical body and a spiritual body. Whichever one you feed the most rules your life. When you fast, pray, read Gods word and make sacrifices to God and to his kingdom.. your flesh gets weaker and its under subjection to your spirit. Sin is a direct indicator of how strong or weak your spirit/body ratio is. God will not overcome your will to sin or serve yourself. Living for God is a choice you have to willingly make.
