Mainly because you can’t draw on a MacBook… use it for notetaking, art and graphic design… and they work so well in inbetween spaces

Cheaper, Lighter, Almost same power, more portable, Touchscreen, can be with a keyboard or with not which a MacBook can’t do, and you can use it as a monitor for a Mac mini allowing you to use MacOS

shhh.. ipads are like the in between and for some they don’t NEED a mac but want that computer feel. i made my iPad Pro into a mac using the magic keyboard. i got mines for video editing, gaming, and daily use (media, apple tv).
