Même si l'iPhone XR est plus ancien, le système iOS « gèle » ou ralentit le traitement des tâches secondaires pour que le mouvement de fermeture ou d'ouverture d'une application reste parfaitement fluide à l'œil. La gestion d'Android / One UI (Samsung) : Samsung privilégie la vitesse d'exécution. Si vous ouvrez et fermez des applications à toute vitesse, le processeur surcharge sa mémoire vive (RAM) et donne la priorité au chargement du contenu de l'application plutôt qu'à l'animation visuelle, ce qui provoque des pertes de rafraîchissement d'image (dropped frames). L'écran 120 Hz : Le Galaxy S21 possède un écran ultra-fluide (120 Hz) comparé à l'écran 60 Hz de l'iPhone XR. Par conséquent, la moindre micro-saccade sur le S21 se remarque immédiatement.
