Based on my limited knowledge as a scientist (soon neuropharmacologist), when you take the mushrooms, its active component (psilocybin I’m assuming is what you are using to microsode), it will trigger intense neuroplasticity. This might be triggering pathways in your central nervous system that have been deactivated or severely damaged after the accident. Neuroplasticity forces reshaping and strengthening of neuronal pathways. In that state, those pathways might be working again for a moment, which is why it is so important to keep exercising during those moments because there’s a small chance you might make that reshaping “stick” if that makes sense? And now on a more lame note, your story is the reminder I need to not give up on this second master’s, we have sooo much to unveil still. I wish I coud pick your brain and ask you questions for hours, I have so many 🥹🥹 I really hope it works! I’m rooting for you!!! 🤍

Mushrooms are basically the internet for trees. Apparently they can build or become neurological paths. Interesting, thanks for sharing!

The research that has been held back on certain natural chemicals is a travesty that is steeped in racism and capitalism. It is infuriating to know there was help at hand and people who took it were criminalised.
