@loudthoughtsforyou: Never ask a liar why they lied. Because to explain one lie, they will often have to create another. Then another to protect that one. Until the story becomes so layered that even they begin to forget where the truth ended. The most painful part is knowing there may be lies you never discovered and questions that will never receive honest answers. But constantly searching for the full truth from someone who repeatedly deceived you will only keep you trapped inside their version of reality. A relationship built on lies cannot take you deeper into truth. It can only make you question your memory, your instincts, and your own understanding of what happened. Closure does not always come from finding every missing detail. Sometimes closure begins when you accept that dishonesty was the answer. You do not need one final confession to trust what the pattern has already shown you.
