Sid is a flashy 15hh Welsh D gelding who was previously a driving pony and has since been brought into ridden work. He is willing to turn his hoof to anything and always tries his best. Sid takes confidence from his rider, so he would suit someone kind and patient who will continue to build his confidence. He is not at all dangerous and has been out hacking regularly. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to a school, so most of his work has been done out hacking. He has been to a hunt meet and behaved brilliantly, and I think he would really enjoy a hunting home. Once you build a good bond with him, he is a truly special horse and has the potential to make a fantastic all-rounder. Sid is barefoot and does very well without shoes, although he can be shod if preferred. This is an incredibly difficult decision. Due to losing my grazing, I am struggling to find anywhere suitable for him close to home, so I want to find him the loving, knowledgeable home he deserves.
