its very close! of course they couldn't make everything the same but I loved that some things they added that weren't in the og not so much the fact they changed a special part but it was amazing.

Hot take, I LOVE him as her dad, but I think he also could’ve played Maui!! I can fully see it, even with a beard. But I liked the rock. My 5yr old daughter said Maui didn’t look right. 🤣

I may not watxh the movie as its really recent for a live action and it seeming like a cash grab for disney in my opinion. BUT I do love seeing them putting the effort to show and respect the Polynesian culture in the clips I've seen.
