One thing people need to understand….. these companies don’t care for you. We’re all expendable. Gave my 2 weeks last week. Planned on finishing this Friday. I got to work today & they told me I could go home. That I didn’t need to be there anymore.

Been working as a Linehaul driver for FedEx ground, I was working 6 days a week for the past month and a half. I contacted my boss to change something cuz I’m not trying to get burnt out not physically but mentally. I want the money just like everyone else but I need a life as well.

That’s exactly what happens u have a limited say on what happens at your job or around you they the company wants u to be grateful that they gave u a job but as the employee of the company u earn ur job by doing a service but most companies don’t see it that way they think they are doing u a favor not paying for a service

Because 99% of truck drivers live beyond their means and need “their hours”. Instead of saving and spending wisely drivers buy that truck, house, and so on based on the amount of hours they think they can try to squeeze out of their “job”.
