Football deserves praise for winning against corruption. The game was one of the worst finals of all time, but Spain played football, Argentina endured and only resorted to rough play, and it was incredible to see the miracle of a red card, something that should have been shown in literally every game for that team. It's also surprising that they didn't invent a penalty or add extra time until Argentina equalized. The only team that really created danger for Spain was Portugal; imagine if they had played with 11 men...

Argentina knew the ref wouldn’t properly punish their actions so they just openly attacked the opposition every game. Even the first goal Spain scored being disallowed highlighted to the whole world how corrupt the World Cup was.

let's be objective and logical. they aren't a good side. they played below average teams and actually struggled throughout bar England. England and spain are the only proper teams but England chose wrong tactics and it backfired. Spain exposed them
