if surveillance finds 100 murderers but puts even a handful of people at risk of any type of vulnerability the mind can think of, the surveillance needs to end. I would much rather see crime.

Former insurance agent here…That technically is a data breach. Meaning if those police departments do not follow the LAWS for data breaches they can be sued like crazy. Laws that include things like notifying them of said breach. That’s a big financial liability issue for the police department.

The prob isn't "if youre not doing anything wrong" now it's "youre guilty until you prove yourself innocent". We should all be concerned over that and the fact that it's our word against the cameras.

When you're with someone trusted, having them see you nude is no big deal. But you wouldn't want anyone to be able to walk into your home and see you nude whenever. This is how I always try to explain it to the pro flock people.

I was a cop. We were specifically told not to use official systems to look people up without an official reason. Then, the inspector winked and started looking up local politicians for the class of new recruits to see. It definitely happens!!!

We all know and my knowledge comes from being related to many of these fine folks. There are a lot of officers that really are some of the worst people out there.

If they want/need all our data, then there should also be a database to see who is accessing the data. Like a flock on flock. You have to facial recog, date, time, location, which computer is accessing and there has to be a reason box filled in full. Because not only is the what you’re finding but the who is looking and why. Jesus, at that point you got a guy watching a guy who needs to be approved by a guy. And that last guy, we def don’t trust so he will need a guy to watch him.

no one said anything about privacy, they are on the public streets anyway. It's the fact that they can be used to track anyone which is equivalent to a search without warrant.
