At only 37.8 pounds, this sweet soul has been quietly waiting for someone to see past his fear and recognize the loving dog underneath. 💙 Midnight is understandably overwhelmed by the shelter environment. Volunteers describe him as incredibly timid, often too frightened to walk when leaving his kennel. One volunteer lovingly carried him outside, where he stayed close on the grass, accepting gentle handling and showing complete trust despite his fear. He never showed aggression—only a heart longing for reassurance. As he becomes more comfortable, Midnight’s true personality begins to shine. Volunteers have seen him greet visitors with enthusiastic tail wags, a loose, wiggly body, and soft, gentle eyes. Even while sharing a kennel with another dog, he remains polite and peaceful, allowing greetings and keeping to himself.
