One of my favorite “chase” movie was Uncut Gems with Adam Sandler, that movie gave me so much anxiety 😂 but I loved it. I’m not sure if it qualifies as suspense or “chase” but it definitely felt like it

If anyone else was curious too, I looked further into the title because I didn't understand why North by Northwest isn't a real direction. It turns out there is a way to refer to the directions in a specific order. If you said North by Northwest, people would probably know what you mean, but it wouldn't be correct because you're saying it out of order. Neat stuff!

My favorite Hitchcock are Dial M For Murder and Rope. I can’t say there’s a bad one though, at least out of the ones I’ve seen.

I don’t have anything to add about the movie, but I do want to say that this month’s theme has really contributed to our physical media collection. We didn’t have The Fugitive or this movie, so my husband bought them both for the club! Would you ever do a video showing off your physical media collection? 😊

Finally catching up on my movie club watches and this one was so much fun, I got to watch it at the cinemas for a retrospective screening which was a blast!! Kaden, I’d love to know your thoughts on the moral relativism in the Cold War era prompt you gave us for this one, I thought I could see some of those themes how disposable both Vandamm & the US gov treat Eve, for their own agendas, - but not sure I’ve quite hooked onto those motifs. Would be super interested to hear your thoughts!

Hitchcock also is a master of the camera, some shots of this are very cool. One could only imagine what he will do with modern technology. Cool film! ;)
