I took it really well actually.. I was always told it’s all about mindset. And it truly truly truly is.. I’ve known people who were crying everyday, canceled upcoming events, trips, completely stopped living their lives and were constantly home completely depressed.. I’ve also known people who did not allow this diagnosis to affect them whatsoever. They continued working, continued their everyday lives, continued with their trips, events, continued with their workouts etc.. they didn’t allow cancer to ruin and take over their life.. I’d much rather go that second route. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

My fav was asking for a double mastectomy in the very beginning because i was Stage 3c TNBC with mets to axilla and chest lymph nodes. Was cancer for a year.The damn scans last week showed a 4mm mass in the bad breast so im starting over....

you can get through the surgery, the chemo and the radiation - but keep your village close for after treatment. oddly enough, this is harder then active treatment and you feel more alone
