Deuteronomy is in the old testament remember the whole of old testament talks about earthly punishment that's why by then God's anger comes on earth but Jesus come to change that. the whole of new testament talks about internal freedom. No punishment on earth rather you repent for internity.you should know the difference.and what you have brought here happened also in the times of Jesus and he stopped it by saying (if amongst you here had never sinned be the first to stone and they all left) story about the woman court with another man. please understand bible very well before coming openly about it. show me a single verse in old testament talking about life in heaven after death.
