Gonna give it to you straight. In every relationship the euphoria eventually subsides for both parties, sometimes it ends for the man first sometimes it ends for the woman first. Love is the decision to sacrifice euphoria that could be found elsewhere and stay to invest in the other person and grow together. What you are describing is just transactional behavior. I don’t think the pattern is unique to women. Ultimately, people usually leave relationships not because of one isolated incident, but because of an accumulation of unresolved issues that outweigh the reasons to stay. Healthy relationships tend to endure when both partners consistently feel respected, valued, trusted, and able to address problems together before resentment takes hold.
