Eau rose EDT by Diptyque is when I realized I didn’t hate rose scents, and I really, really enjoy. Rose and florals were done so poorly, in my opinion, in the 80’s and 90’s. When I pictured rose/floral scents, I always thought of an old lady. Rose Atlantic was purchased because of Eau Rose, because I wanted to explore more rose scents. I love the salty notes, and I wore it when I was on the west coast, especially while wearing linen and while eating outside at a cafes. You haven’t came up on my FYP in a long time. I miss your nose 💜

I love the smell of rose but some rose fragrances give me a headache. Rose Struck by Liis doesn’t! It’s so beautiful, dewy and citrusy and light. It was my wedding fragrance.

Eau rose EDT by Diptyque has shown me that I can like rose in a fragrance but it has to be done right. Impadia by bdk put me off rose so bad.

With Rose it is tough because the flower itself can have 3 very different kind of smell in general. There are rose flowers out there that smell almost earthy and green, there are ones that smell soapy and powdery and than there are the ones that are fresh, fruity and almost have a citrus note to them. So it really depends on what kind of rose is used to make the perfume in general I feel. Personally I love a ton of rose fragrances if it isn't just rose. 😅 I like them salty, fresh or fruity, if made well.

OG & Rose Atlantic are 10/10!!! I need to pick up a bottle of OG soon🙃 but RDF: Glass Blooms and Little Flower are are good ones! And Dopamine Rose by L’Epoque! Andddd Psychedelic Love by Initio it’s like a resinous, vanillic rose. Beautiful date night scent.

so funny you posted this because I blind bought a dabber of La perla give me roses and omgggg it crept up on me how much I loveeee it it is so so pretty im not sure how to describe other than your in a rose garden and the sun has heated up the petals to give it a wonderful aroma 🥰🌹

You have to try Rose Ardoise by Atelier Materi. This is the most particular and unique rose scent that I smelled. You got the rose but with kind of a smoky mineral scent in the background. I just can’t get enough of it. When I wear it , I can’t stop smelling my self 🥰 I love it !! ❤️❤️

I LOVE rose notes in perfume but wanted a rose scent that leaned more fall/winter, and I found Midnight Special by Ex Nihilo. The rose is more of a jammy rose with notes of saffron, patchouli, and black pepper. It’s unlike any rose scent I’ve ever smelled and it is boss level when it comes to longevity
