If anyone doesn't know. it's not the acid burn from that chemical that's dangerous. it goes into the blood stream and kills magnesium and calcium. It can stop your heart if it eats your own chemistry enough. it's not worth your life i almost died from that shit.

And on top of that you're talking hypothetically bro like he's using acid for maintenance washes which you don't know and the whole point of detailing is adding protection and delivering a product so if he deep cleans with acid then protects and maintains what's the issue? Lol

I seriously want to advocate that every state have a mandated certification to detailers. this will weed out all the scammers the uneducated and the thieves. enough is enough

I’ll be honest I’ve been doing this on a couple cars with crazy water spots. I heavily dilute the acid though and properly neutralize afterwards. I do 1/4 or 1/5 with f-30 acid. I have found it helps also remove bugs that are etched and it really shines up chrome front grills for me.

the key phrase I heard was “prolonged use” he does a chemical wash once on vehicles with already damaged clear coats with baked in water spots before a paint correction and ceramic coating. This isn’t something to do every wash or frankly more than once but imo it’s 100% acceptable to use it as an aid to clean already damaged paint before paint CORRECTION. Regardless of the chemical or not a paint correction will be done and millimeters of clear coat will be taken off, so what is the harm?

My bad bro. I’ll use it at 127 ounces acid to 1 ounce of water. Now it’s not technically undiluted anymore.

Yes but he nutralizes it after with an alkaline, before doing a paint correction, Acid is the most normal way to removed water spots.

If anything he needs to switch to an organic acid and even then needs to dilute it a ton
