See I’m glad you made this video because I almost left a comment asking “despite and in contribution to your experience is it possible that you - and part of the reason I didn’t leave this comment is because I didn’t know how to word this next part- have the notion of ignoring the social aspects that can play into a crime?” But you addressed it perfectly in this video, you’re a forensic scientist. Your job is to look at the physical evidence and reach a conclusion based on that. The preliminary evidence indicates drowning. As you stated perfectly, you’re not a sociologist. Again, please take ZERO offense to my comment, I didn’t leave the question originally because I didn’t know how to word it and yadda but again I’m glad you addressed it in this video!

This is so important to say. Because if the evidence doesn’t lead you to conclude that you believe something criminal occurred here, that doesn’t mean you can’t understand why so many people of color were/are concerned about what could’ve happened here. There are years upon years of violence against black Americans to support their valid concerns.

It’s because people sometimes can’t comprehend that just because you’re not accusing someone does not mean that you’re defending them- I mean there’s a lot of people that process things in two lanes and you’re either in my lane or you’re in the other lane. I don’t know if it’s like being blinded by bias and hatred or if it’s just they can’t process more than 2 things.

racism has reversed.. tremendously.. which.. in turn revived it on the other side. I was born in 1990, grew up and black schools and girl.. I was scared lol I used to have a gym Teacher, Coach Mason.. and he would always "check" the white kids. I almost got jumped. lol I'm fine now, and I loved black people back then.... but nothing was this bad.. in 2008.. it changed and has been on a rise ever since
