I was so tired of the reruns!😂 I grew up in Cleveland and on Johnny Marzetti! Unfortunately we didn’t get all the cheese…. I love this meal! Hi Floyd!!

Great to see you on my FYP again. Thought about you last weekend when my wife and I stopped at Meijer driving through L-town. And yes this dish is a great Ohio staple.

Johnny Marzetti was very popular in the old Panama Canal Zone. The Americans there believed it was their own creation. Cookbooks from the Zone all have a recipe for it.

Looks like meat-heavy spaghetti with different noodles… add cheese. But I’d still eat it like crazy. But I’ve never tried it, so I’ll have to make it before I get too critical 🤣🤣🤣

In NE Ohio, we called this chili macs - wether mom had chili powder or not, ha!
BUT..... bfs mom called it *Johnny Marzetti* which i had never heard of b4 and they lived 40miles away.
BUT..... they were from Kentucky so im assuming it's a regional thing.
1- if Mom had chili powder to add to it, she served cornbread with it.
2- if she didn't have chili powder, she served garlic or French bread.
Ohio cuisine at it's best! yummy!
