makeup i get at ulta, i get drugstore makeup especially when they have deals. i do my own nails but i suggest going to a home based nail tech, a lot are college or high school students and don't charge much! hair i get done at a local chinese salon and get it dyed and cut for $200 so not too bad. overall keeping care of myself is $500 or less for the whole year, including skincare and everything. if budgeted properly is easy to upkeep and lots of makeup and nails and hair stuff doesnt need to be done frequently anyways

your skills have improved sometimes it just takes time to get faster. I take about 5min I just do: natural medium-light coverage concealer under eye, curls lashes add mascara, and eyebrow pencil. Sometimes chapstick. The TikTok brow shaping filter is good for just using with your brow pencil. I don’t recommend that you tweeze your own brows right now but using the TikTok eyebrow guide can help you shape with brow pencil

Yes yes yes. A big part of it is finding the little things that make you feel best rather than trying to check every box. I will let my nails go to crust but getting a 10 min brow touch up every other month and a mascara I like daily has been life changing in terms of just confidence

Your makeup skills are improving!! The most important thing is your brows! It will transform your face. As a beginner I wouldn’t personally do my own brows. When you’re in LA go to brows by Shalia.
