A sub with no boundaries or identity is not a safe person to be with in a kink setting. The same goes for doms in this scenario. Avoid them at all cost.

Minor caveat- there is a difference between without boundaries and subs who dont know their boundaries because theyre new to the scene and want a safe person to explore and find those boundaries with. There is nothing wrong with the latter as long as they communicate this

For those who don't understand, in these kind of relationships. The doms aren't the leader, the sub is. They set their boundaries, they set the rules and the Dom follows what those are and do things within the range that the sub is fine with (simplifying it)

This is endlessly frustrating, and in my experience with sub guys, usually means "I'll do whatever you want me to do so long as it's precisely and exactly my fantasy, which you must pretend is your fantasy." It's exhausting.

To be fair, and as someone who was curious at one point, a lot of doms I spoke to were.... not doms. They were just bossy and liked the title. So I can see how some other curious people might have been given the wrong idea about how things work. Not all, but some.

Personally I don’t use “safe words” because I need clear communication. My “safe words” are stop, keep going, slow down, etc. I understand lots of dynamics use code words. I am not good with it.
