my phone flew out of my hand as we were landing and slid 4 aisles forward, and I had to go searching in between the lifejackets underneath the seats as we were leaving the plane

it does happen! I dropped my phone it went through a loose panel and ended up in the belly of the plane. once we landed they had a technician go in and grab it.
